Representatives from the Mineral Resources and Petroleum Authority of Mongolia and the Mongolian Gas Association paid a working visit to the Republic of Korea from April 8 to 15, 2025. During the visit, they held meetings with officials from the Embassy of Mongolia in the Republic of Korea, the Korea Gas Safety Corporation, and the Korea Petroleum Quality & Distribution Authority.

The professional organizations of the two countries concluded that the visit would contribute to the development and improvement of legal regulations in Mongolia's gas fuel sector and serve as an important step toward ensuring gas safety.

The parties emphasized the importance of further expanding and developing cooperation in the gas sector between the two countries, with a focus on providing accurate knowledge and information on gas at all levels, enhancing training skills and specialization, improving the safety of gas supply and operations, developing the legal framework, and strengthening the control system and capacity building.
